ECU Tune Required / Strongly Recommended: Fitting a high-flow downpipe significantly changes exhaust backpressure and flow rates.
Check Engine Light (CEL): While an O2 defouler/spacer can be fitted to the secondary O2 sensor, later model ECU software will likely still detect the change and trigger a malfunction code. Earlier models may avoid CELs with a defouler, but an ECU tune is the only guaranteed solution.
